What is your role at Dunedin IT?
Anyone who works in a small business knows there’s no such things as job titles especially in the early days, but I suppose it is IT Director, looking after the day to day operations of the business.
What Qualifications do you hold?
I graduated in 2003 with a BEng (Hons) in Computer Networks and Distributed systems from Napier University.
Why did you get into computing?
I always wanted to join the RAF as either a pilot or as a flight engineer until my computer teacher said I should think about a career in computing. With computing gathering momentum in the 90’s it seemed like a good career choice.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
2010 – Of course still working at Dunedin IT with maybe a couple more company vans, six or so staff and a good reputation for IT services in Edinburgh and the surrounding area.
What happened! Two of us five years ago, there was 11 of us for today’s meeting! pic.twitter.com/l9Eq9YgxV9

Career highlights so far?
Starting the business in 2009, cutting my teeth at Terinea in 2005, getting my first IT job at Jenners in 2003 and working for Microsoft in 2001. Since then, the successful development of Dunedin IT.
Aside from business and computing, its Liverpool FC, watching Bo’ness United, playing five aside football, getting out on my road bike at weekends, films and odd bit of shark diving too.
