Staff Profile – Callum
What is your role at Dunedin IT?
I provide IT support to clients via the helpdesk, remote desktop software and site visits. I also carry out daily tasks in the office.
What Qualifications do you hold?
I have gained an HND Technical Support award in 2011 and a HNC Computing award in 2010.
Why did you get into computing?
From a very young age I was always interested in computing and wanted to know how they worked. I enjoyed computing at high school so I decided to study it at college. Now that I have completed college I hope to make an enjoyable career in computing.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
24 years old?! I would like to be working at Dunedin IT full time providing a high level of IT support. I hope to expand my knowledge and ability in the IT industry learning from Dunedin IT. I also want to help the company grow in the future.
Career highlights so far?
My career has only just begun. Before coming to Dunedin IT I worked for a retail company Sports Direct for 2 years.
You’re Passions?
Outside of work I spend most of my time playing football, socialising with friends, going to the gym and gaming.
