As you may already know, we are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Hibernian Football Club, as we ensure their technology matches ambition, on and off the field. Our partnership begins anew with Hibs this year, and with it, we thought we’d have some fun announcing that we’re back ! And back of the shirt again!
Our thoughts were for a short and cinematic video using smoke and punchy music. All filmed at the historic home of the club, Easter Road Stadium.
So, a couple of weeks back we did just that, armed with camera, gimbal, and of course the smoke machine! We set up the shirts in the Hibs changing room, filled the room with smoke, played around with the lighting and got filming. It was great fun to film, watching the Dunedin IT logo emerge through the swirling smoke on the back of those iconic green jerseys, but also thinking, will this actually work when it comes to editing together?!
And the story doesn’t end there! We are not just back of the shirt sponsors; we’re integral partners in Hibs’ technological journey. With an expanded remit for the 2025/26 season and beyond, Dunedin IT will now be responsible for delivering the Club’s managed services, data management, cyber security and leading on its digital infrastructure strategy.
Our team becomes part of the Hibs family, understanding not just the technical requirements, but the heartbeat of the club and what makes it special.
In the not-so-distant future we’ll be releasing more video content as there are so many great stories to tell. We’ll be talking about the services we currently provide and how that support enables Hibs to focus on what they do best – creating unforgettable football experiences for their passionate fanbase.
